AN OPEN JOURNAL. NO NAME NEEDED.

A place to put your words.

Commonplace is an open, anonymous journal. Anyone can read its pages or leave a thought, a personal story, or a poem. You do not need an account, an email address, or a name.

Different lives. The same blank page.

Some days, you have a story to tell. On others, you might only have a sentence you cannot stop thinking about. This space is for both. The entries are arranged by date, so you can wander through what people have been noticing and feeling.

Write without a profile.

Choose Thoughts, Stories, or Poetry, add an optional title, and publish your words immediately. Each entry has its own page to read and share. There are no public author profiles, follower counts, or leaderboards.

Public, rather than private.

This is a shared journal, not a private diary. Published entries can be read, copied, shared, and found through search engines. Leave out information that identifies you or someone else if you do not want it made public.

Anonymous means no author name is attached to a post. It does not guarantee untraceability. Read our privacy note for how browser storage, cookies, and hosting work.

A space we care for together.

Honesty and kindness can coexist. Please follow the community guidelines, and report entries containing spam, harassment, or private information. New entries publish immediately. Owners can hide or reject entries and review reports.
